Oscar Weekend..Who Wins…And Do you care?

This weekend is THE weekend for movies do you really care who wins. I don’t think anyone but Hollywood really cares who wins but its fun to watch and see the clothes!  This year of contenders is all worth your time, every one of them. In case you have been under a rock here are the best picture nominees and according to Entertainment Weekly how the running is going for Best Picture are:

Nebraska 8%  Captain Philips 5%   Philomena5%  Her 6%          Dallas Buyers Club 10% Gravity 19%  Wolf of WallStreet 13%   American Hustle 16%   12 Years A Slave 18%

How I’m Voting:
What difference to us does it make? Some people in Hollywood vote and its all their opinions about what is the best movie and actress out there. The point is they are all good movies with great entertainment value but all that matters is what you think. The best overall movie, storyline acting, everything this year would be:

12 Years A Slave: A man living in New York during the mid-1800s is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the deep south. The story line is hard but it’s a true story and it is well written. Chiwetel Ejiofor actually makes you feel his pain and struggle through the entire movie and the supporting cast is phenomenal. This is the best overall movie in the best picture category of 2013

A close runner up would be:
Gravity: a brilliant medical engineer on her first Shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The Shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone-tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness of space.
This movie is amazing it is Sandra Bullock alone with the supporting actor role being played by outer space. It is 91 minutes on the edge of your seat and Bullock is amazing and the cinematography blows your mind.

Even though only 1 movie can win all of these are great! If you need a laugh American Hustle and Wolf of WallStreet will have you in stitches. Her tugs at your heart strings, Captain Philips is excitement and it goes on the Best Picture nominees this year cover all genres choose one and enjoy.
