Movie Review: Catching Fire…is of course on Fire

If you liked the book you will like the movie! For once Hollywood got it right and kept the movie
exactly like the book. No random changes for no reason, no leaving out important parts, and no adding in useless scenes. I have never seen a movie be as close to the book as this, one so the movie is 2 ½ hours long but it has no slow points so you won’t notice.

This one is better than the first, for so many reasons: this book was better than the first, the acting is better, you see the true nature of the government, and the love triangle gets more tangled. It also helps
that it is chock full of top actors besides the ones the series made famous (Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutchinson, & Liam Hemsworth) Woody Harrelson,  Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Phillip Seymmore Hoffman, and the list goes on.

A lot of parents are worried about the violence in this movie and of course it’s there it’s a game of killing but its not gory or outlandish. If you think about it this is nothing a younger audience hasn’t seen before and not just in movies. In school a lot of elementary kids read Lord of the Flies, which is another premise of kids killing other kids not for survival but domination.

If you’re a Hunger Games fan you won’t be disappointed get to the theaters now. Agree or don’t agree share your reviews at www.yourmediaworld.com.
