‘Riddick’ Wins the Box Office This Weekend- film review ‘Riddick’

Riddick still a bad ass; what is left to say? This is the third installment in the Riddick series and has won the box office this weekend taking in over 18 million dollars.

Vin Diesel is back hotter than ever for a sequel no one expected given the results of previous installments, but it was enjoyable. This installment builds on the original Pitch Black Riddick movie, which not many people saw, and the story line is very similar. (Did you see PitchBlack share your review at www.yourmediaworld.com)

Two rival teams of bounty hunters (aka “mercs”) have landed on the planet in search of the man who remains the universe’s most wanted. One group is led by Santana (Jordi Molla) the other is captained by Johns (Matt Nable), who is not there for the bounty as much as for revenge and information on his son, from the first Riddick installment Pitch Black.
Of course they are not the only ones on the planet there are also aliens that come out in the dark and rain that will hunt them all. As Riddick invisibly takes the “mercs” out one by one the aliens get closer until of course they must work together with Riddick to survive the aliens and escape the planet.
Riddick delivers on the action and edge of your seat fear and excitement and it was evident from the cheers that erupted at the screening attended that I was not the only one who agreed. This is just my opinion...whats yours? Share it at www.yourmediaworld.com.
