If you weren’t part of the $120 million at the box office that that saw Fast and Furious 6 this weekend don’t worry there is still time. The 6th installment of the Fast and Furious empire made the Hangover Part III  look hung-over at the box office.  With the returning cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, joined by Luke Evans and Gina Carano, "Furious 6" opened on Friday in 3,658 theaters, taking in $38.2 million, surpassing the opening day of previous sequel Fast Five by $3.8 million. It then took full advantage of the long holiday weekend, bringing in $96.8 million over the three-day weekend and an estimated $120 million including Memorial Day Monday.

I know after the first movie I was with you did they really need a sequel? They then proceeded to make 3 terrible sequels but I admit that I liked the 4th sequel Fast Five. But was there room for a 6th?

Yes! The 6th installment makes up for the shortcomings of the previous sequels. Yes it is full of cheesy one-liners and yes there are the predictable fight scenes. But it’s got all the action you need: guns, explosions, impossible to believe 007 type jumps, unexpected twists, bringing cast back from the dead like some crazy day time soap, and even a heart wrenching love story.  Hard to believe but the Fast and Furious 6 is worth your dime.

The question is will the 7th?  Yes the movie leaves you with the cliffhanger for a 7th sequel and introduces another famous action star to join the Fast Furious Empire, Jason Statham.
